US Senator David Vitter (R-LA) will be a guest speaker at the American Cleaning Institute Annual Meeting in Grande Lakes, Orlando, FL on Friday, Jan. 31, 2014. At 9:00 a.m., the Senator will speak at a special session to be held in the Palazzo Ballroom D, Lobby Level of the JW Marriott Convention Center.
Vitter is the co-author and leading cosponsor of bipartisan legislation to reform the Toxic Substances Control Act. His work includes serving as the Ranking Member of the Committee on Environment and Public Works. Among other topics, he will share his thoughts with us on the current Congressional agenda and key policy issues affecting the cleaning products industry. Vitter also serves on the Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs and the Committee on Armed Services.
Vitter was first elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 1999. He was elected to his first term in the Senate in 2004, and again in 2010.
