Sandra Breene has been appointed president, global personal care & actives, at Croda. She will replace Kevin Gallagher who is retiring on Dec. 31, 2015.
A graduate in chemistry from Hull University with an MBA from Leeds University, Breene's career has spanned 25 years with Croda International Plc. During this time, she has held many positions, initially in the laboratory as a research chemist from where she moved into sales, marketing and business roles primarily in personal care.
She spent five years with Croda in Singapore with the responsibility for sales & marketing for the whole of the Asian region returning back to the UK in 2006. During the past 10 years, Breene has held business leadership positions in Croda's personal care, life sciences (crop & health care) and performance technology divisions, most recently as president for crop and health care. In addition, she had regional responsibility for Croda's business in Europe/EEMEA. She was appointed to Croda International’s executive committee in 2012.
