Colgate-Palmolive Company has announced the following new appointments for three current senior executives, effective April 1.
P. Justin Skala has been named COO, North America, Europe, Africa/Eurasia and global sustainability. Skala was most recently president, Colgate-North America and Global Sustainability, and previously was president, Colgate-Latin America from July 2010 through September 2013. His earlier assignments include senior marketing and general management roles at Colgate and Hill’s in the U.S., Asia and Europe. He joined the Company in 1982.
Noel R. Wallace has bee appointed COO, Global Innovation & Growth and Hill’s Pet Nutrition, including leadership of the company’s global marketing, research and development, global manufacturing and customer development organizations—a position that was vacated by Fabian T. Garcia, who has moved on to Revlon, as reported by Happi this morning. Wallace was most recently president, Colgate-Latin America and previously served as President, Colgate-North America and Global Sustainability from February 2010 through September 2013. He joined Colgate in 1987.
Franck J. Moison has been appointed vice chairman overseeing the company’s business in Asia Pacific and Latin America, and its bsiness development efforts. Moison had been COO, emerging markets and business development since December 2013. He first assumed COO responsibilities in January 2012, following senior marketing and general management roles in the U.S. and Europe, including President, Colgate-Europe. He joined Colgate in 1978.
“These three executives exemplify the experience and versatility of our management teams all around the world. Given their past records of success, we are confident that their new assignments will help us further strengthen our worldwide capabilities and advance our business strategy,” said chairman, president and CEO Ian Cook.
Cook also extended congratulations to Garcia who announced his departure from Colgate to assume a leadership role at Revlon. “We offer sincere thanks to Fabian for over a decade of contributions to Colgate and wish him every success as he takes on his new responsibilities.”
