On April 13, the Household & Commercial Products Association (HCPA) participated in a call with Labor Secretary Eugene Scalia to discuss how the household and commercial products industry is navigating the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Today’s call was extremely productive and demonstrates the Department of Labor’s commitment to assisting American businesses and workers during this national emergency,” commented HCPA president & CEO Steve Caldeira. “We appreciate Secretary Scalia’s interest in the current status of the household and commercial products industry, and assured him that our member companies, who make the cleaning and EPA-approved disinfecting products that can be used against COVID-19, are following CDC guidelines. We look forward to continuing our collaboration with Secretary Scalia and the Department of Labor to ensure that employees are protected during this unprecedented time.”
