Because of the impact or COVID-19 and safety concerns, Ecovia Intelligence has decided to make the Sustainable Cosmetics Summit a virtual event. The summit will now take place on an online platform from September 28-30.
“We feel this is the best option so the summit provides a great learning experience whilst ensuring there are no health & safety risks to participants,” said Nathalie Piedefer, marketing events assistant, Ecovia Intelligence.
The new virtual edition will discuss practical approaches to change product design, formulations, packaging and consumption to help prepare for a circular economy. How can brands reduce their impacts by using plant-based materials? What are the opportunities with cannabidiol? What upcycled ingredients are making their way into personal care products? What clean beauty products are using such materials? What bio-based materials are replacing plastics? How can brands close their packaging loops? Such questions will be addressed in a high-level forum.
