The American Cleaning Institute (ACI)—in collaboration with International Association for Soaps, Detergents and Maintenance Products (A.I.S.E.), Association of Manufacturers and Formulators of Enzyme Products (AMFEP) and Household & Commercial Products Association (HCPA)—has developed a factsheet on the role of enzymes in detergent products.
“The aim of this factsheet is to explain the role of these important ingredients, their environmental benefits and specific applications in a straightforward way, suitable for all audiences, both technical and non-technical,” said Dr. Francis Kruszewski, ACI Senior Director, Human Health & Safety. “Enzymes are a great technology used in detergents, which have a positive impact on sustainability, reducing energy consumption when cleaning and tackling specific stains.”
The factsheet can be found here.
