Ren Clean Skincare, part of Unilever's Prestige Beauty roster, appointed Michelle Brett chief executive officer. She replaces Arnaud Meysselle, who guided Ren for five years. Prior to this appointment, Brett was senior vice president of sales and vice president of retail sales at Living Proof, another Unilever brand.
Ren has reached major sustainability goals in recent years. They include achieving zero-waste in 2021.
“Taking on such bold initiatives when it comes to sustainability requires bravery and tenacity, and I know firsthand that Michelle Brett is a passionate, focused and dedicated leader, who will take on the challenge with open arms and an eagerness to succeed,” Vasiliki Petrou, executive vice president at Unilever Prestige, said in a statement.
Unilever acquired Ren in 2015. The brand, as its name implies, competes in the prestige skin care segment.
