In light of “International Boost Self-Esteem” month, L’Oréal Paris unveiled a new chapter of celebrating women’s empowerment this week with an ode to self-esteem for women around the world–a video series entitled “Lessons of Worth.”
The series kicked-off with L’Oréal Paris spokesperson, Kate Winslet, as she slowly removes her full glam to her bare face. Her message spotlights the iconic “Because I’m Worth It” brand tagline, while the actress challenges the “superpower” hair and makeup have, and how we can still feel “worth it” once it’s all off.
The inspirational testimonials laddering back to the brand’s tagline started two years ago with Viola Davis’ call-to-action to reconsider the phrase “Because I’m worth it” and spokespersons Jane Fonda, Aja Naomi King and Eva Longoria have since followed.
Eleven more of the brand’s ambassadors will reveal their take on the tagline this month, from February 2-26 to champion the month’s message.
