Since its inception, Silab's commitment to sustainable development has been based on five major CSR issues: sustainable strategy, development of human potential, responsible sourcing, preserved environment, and support of communities.
“These five essential pillars are the foundation of our Actively Caring CSR program, which naturally commits us to a sustainable world,” said Xavier Gaillard, deputy general manager for strategy and responsible for CSR at Silab. “Through our annual initiatives report, we wish to share with all our stakeholders the actions implemented to reach our 2025 objectives."
Initiatives undertaken in 2021 include 360° investments to support innovation and the priority given to training, the consideration of sustainability criteria for the selection of supplies, ambitious projects to manage water consumption and support for medical research through the Silab Jean Paufique Corporate Foundation, whose aim is to provide constant support for fundamental and applied research dedicated to the diagnosis, prognosis and treatment of skin pathologies, particularly skin cancer.
