Community Sixty—Six, a brand founded by beauty industry veteran Dia Foley (formerly general manager of The Inkey List and longtime colleague of Brandon Truaxe of DECIEM/The Ordinary), has launched exclusively on Sephora.com.
Community Sixty-Six (C66) is simple in theory (three steps: cleanse, moisturize, apply SPF), but the formulas are anything but. Key active ingredients at optimum percentages are stacked in each product. By eliminating the guesswork, C66 products provide maximum results with minimal effort.
Product Lineup
The fragrance-free nine-product lineup includes three cleansers; three moisturizers; one night cream (contains retinol); one eye cream; and one mineral SPF.
Makeup Melting Balm Cleanser ($16), a rich, buttery balm with oatmeal, sweet almond oil and plant extracts effortlessly removes makeup, SPF and impurities from the skin’s surface. Calming aloe vera soothes the most stressed, sensitive skin, while kaolin clay exfoliates for a visibly bright, nourished complexion.
Hydrating Cream Cleanser ($16) is a featherweight cream cleanser with hyaluronic and polyglutamic acids that gently eliminates daily dirt while keeping skin balanced and hydrated.
Detoxifying Gel Cleanser ($16), a powerful blend of exfoliating and visibly brightening acids, this lightweight, oil-free gel cleanser purifies skin, unclogs pores, removes excess oil and visibly minimizes blemishes. It’s formulated with salicylic, glycolic, and mandelic acids to give skin a thorough cleanse without stripping away natural oils.
Hydrating Gel Moisturizer ($25) rehydrates and quenches thirsty skin without a heavy or greasy residue. The non-tacky, non-pilling moisturizer infused with antioxidants plus hyaluronic, polyglutamic, and lactic acids, hydrates the surface of the skin and beneath. It also makes an excellent makeup primer.
Nourishing Rich Moisturizer ($25) This antioxidant-rich cream reinforces and supports the skin’s moisture barrier while protecting against environmental stressors. Multi-weight hyaluronic acid, shea butter, CoQ10, and spinach leaf extract restore moisture levels for smoother, softer, dewier-looking skin.
Oil Control Moisturizer ($25) Packed with powerful ingredients like azelaic acid, niacinamide, and squalane, it calms skin, fights blemishes, and removes excess sebum throughout the day.
Resurfacing Night Cream ($35) Combining the powerful benefits of retinol, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, and a range of antioxidants including licorice root and ferulic acid, this fragrance-free formula visibly hydrates, restores, brightens, plumps, and protects skin in one easy step.
Hydrating Eye Cream ($18) A powerful blend of caffeine, niacinamide, Heptapeptide, and squalane visibly diminishes puffiness, dark circles, and fine lines.
Everyday Mineral Moisturizer SPF 30 ($30) This broad-spectrum SPF 30 sunscreen with zinc oxide, hyaluronic acid and niacinamide, has a non-sticky formula that easily blends into skin without pilling or leaving a white cast.
About Community Sixty—Six
It only takes two months for a new behavior to become automatic. Sixty-six days to be exact, according to the European Journal of Social Psychology – Phillipa Lally, UK Health Behavior Research Centre. Community Sixty—Six was developed to take the guesswork out of building an effective skincare routine and inspire healthy skincare habits.
With a minimalistic and premium ingredient-packed range of nine products that makes skincare routines simple to start, and easy to stick to, Community Sixty—Six is getting back to skin basics by focusing on the major skin types and their concerns – and reinforcing the one power consumers can control, consistency.
