On the heels of closing its $11 million Series B Round, award-winning men’s grooming company Scotch Porter is driving its expansion with the onboarding and promotion of four industry-leading executives.
The executive hires are an extension of the company’s focus on scaling brand operations as a part of its overall growth and omnichannel expansion strategy.
Aldwiny Beauport, director of finance, brings over 20 years of finance and accounting experience in retail, luxury goods, and beauty, most recently at the multicultural beauty brand Urban Therapy. In her role, she will manage the overall P&L, oversee day-to-day fiscal management and focus on enhancing financial analysis and reporting to inform better decision-making.
Carel Hearon, vice president of growth, brings over two decades of experience leading direct-to-consumer e-commerce and performance marketing for companies like LVMH, Drybar, Lolë Brands, and Every Man Jack. Her strategic and tactical expertise in driving acquisition and retention strategies for sustainable, clean/non-toxic products will be a catalyst for Scotch Porter’s growth across all digital channels.
Brian Murray, vice president of supply chain, brings over two decades of global manufacturing, logistics and product development expertise with a strong focus on the beauty and personal care industry. His experience with brands like Kenra and DevaCurl will significantly support the development and futureproofing of Scotch Porter’s global supply chain strategy and manufacturing footprint.
Shelby Wong, vice president of sales, brings a wealth of industry experience and knowledge of the North American retail landscape from his tenure at L’Oreal, Sundial Brands, and Grace Beauty. With his broad skill-set in sales, sales strategy, shopper marketing, and brand building, Wong will oversee the national and international retail, channel, and category expansion of Scotch Porter.
Christian Chopra Named Brand President
Scotch Porter recently announced the strategic hire of beauty executive Christian Chopra as brand president. Chopra spearheads the brand development and scaling of the company; is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, overseeing all key functions in the business; and driving both top and bottom-line growth. In addition to the company’s newest hires, longtime senior marketing executive for Scotch Porter, Aleesha Worthington, was promoted to vice president of brand. Worthington joined Scotch Porter in 2017, bringing a wealth of brand, digital, and marketing experience from her past roles at Iconix Brand Group and Roc Nation, where she uncovered new digital territories for large global brands and celebrities, including JAY Z, Rihanna, J. Cole and more. Worthington will oversee Scotch Porter’s overall brand positioning strategy, communication development, and product marketing.
