Ahead of its annual tradeshow, November 13-15, The Private Label Manufacturers Association (PLMA) offers its executive education program on November 12 and 13. The PLMA Executive Education Program, offered in conjunction with Saint Joseph’s University, is developed to meet the needs for educational and professional development among individuals working at all levels within today’s private brand industry.
Instruction is both informational and practical, involving lectures and interactive discussions, with faculty drawn from the University as well as the private brands industry.
A few topics the curriculum will cover include:
• Understand the importance of strategy and its role in strategic private brand development
• How the disruptors of today’s everyday retail landscape relate to one another and how leaders are responding to them
• Product innovation and packaging
• Private brand growth and the role of the supply chain
• How can retailers and manufacturers grow together without growing apart
Nearly 2,000 men and women have graduated from PLMA’s Executive Education program. Classes are perfect for new hires, those who built their careers working for national brands, and anyone looking to refresh their knowledge, broaden their focus, and sharpen their ability think strategically, according to the association.
