National Manufacturing Day is Oct. 6 and Happi Top 30 leader Henkel will promote careers in manufacturing with high school students in recognition of the holiday.
Events will continue throughout the month, providing an opportunity to highlight manufacturing work and energize a future pipeline of skilled workers, said the company.
Employees from Henkel’s facilities in Bowling Green, KY; Delaware, OH; Greenville, SC; Richmond, MO; and Salisbury, NC will host in-person events throughout the month of October with local high school students as part of Manufacturing Day. This initiative is sponsored by the Manufacturing Institute, the workforce development and education affiliate of the National Association of Manufacturers.

The Salisbury event was held Wednesday, October 4; the Richmond event will be held Friday, October 6; and the Greenville event will be held on Monday, October 30.
Henkel’s Manufacturing Day visits are part of the company’s commitment to education and continued investment in opportunities that provide students of all ages access to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) resources and STEM-related career information.
