TikTok viral personal care brand Touchland has announced its most successful year to date, ending 2023 with a 203% sales increase for the full year versus fiscal 2022.
Q4 2023 outperformed Q4 2022 by 180%.
Additionally, the brand’s sales momentum accelerated as the year ended, with Q4 2023 sales coming in 28% higher than Q3 2023 sales, the company reported.
Touchland saw a considerable uptick in cross-channel (TikTok and Instagram) engagement. In total (across both social platforms) Touchland amassed 170 million organic social media impressions.
The brand says its growth on social is translating into high rankings with retail partners, and within consumer data and studies. The brand saw a 292% YoY growth at Sephora (overall growth in-store and online). According to research data by NPD, the brand ranked in first place in several categories, including bath and body skincare and fragrance; total skincare body; and skincare all other body.
Touchland’s continued success is attributed, in part, to “above average” retail expansion and brand awareness growth, per the brand. Its sellout products were featured in both Sephora’s Holiday display, as well as two Ulta Beauty endcaps: the Holiday endcap featuring fan favorite scents and Conscious Beauty endcaps.
‘Key to Miami’
Founder and CEO Andrea Lisbona was given the Key of Miami for Touchland’s impact in Miami at the 2023 Annual Key Ceremony alongside Mayor Danielle Levine Cava.
“We were so honored to recently receive recognition from the City of Miami for our efforts of disrupting the personal care category,” said Lisbona. “As we celebrate our continued growth, my continued focus is on accelerating the Touchland momentum with our new innovations and on continuing to break down barriers in our industry and beyond.”
Touchland’s new product innovation, Gentle Mist, is a hypoallergenic sanitizer mist ideal for sensitive skin, which debuted at Sephora on Jan. 16 and will roll out to the brand’s other retailers, including Ulta Beauty and Amazon, in February.
