Pacifica Beauty, an innovator in the clean beauty space, has appointed Andres Sosa as chief marketing oficer (CMO).
Sosa is an industry veteran with more than 25 years of global brand marketing, strategy and retail experience. Sosa has been recognized as a Clio award-winning marketing executive for developing innovative campaigns that support cross-channel initiatives, with an array of experience across fashion, lifestyle, retail and beauty.
“We are so excited to be welcoming Andres to the Pacifica Beauty team,” said Brook Harvey-Taylor, Founder of Pacifica Beauty. “His years of experience building brands and helping shape brand positioning will serve us well. We look forward to Andres leading our marketing efforts and expanding our growth at a time where clean beauty is continuously leading the conversation.”
Prior to joining Pacifica, Sosa was most recently held the same position at SQULPT Body Shaping where he led the relaunch of the brand across the US.
Before joining SQULPT, Sosa served as Pixi Beauty’s first CMO where he was responsible for global marketing and omnichannel brand positioning. It was there that he led all marketing, education and training activities with key global retailers such as Target, Boots, Ulta, CVS, Sephora, Marks and Spencer’s, Douglas and others, including the launch of cross-border marketing and retail efforts in China.
Sosa also worked as the executive vice president of sales, marketing and creative at The Outnet where he launched two award-winning campaigns, global agencies, WPP and Publicis Groupe, heading various accounts in the luxury fashion and consumer goods sectors, and Value Retail as the head of digital marketing and media.
“Being one of the first vegan and cruelty-free brands on the market, I am proud to be part of a team that has pioneered this space,” said Sosa.
