The Professional Beauty Association (PBA) has unveiled the Salon Leaders Experience, a groundbreaking event aimed at fostering leadership, business acumen, and team cohesion within the salon community.
Registration is now open for this event, which will take place on February 16-17, 2025, at the Hyatt Regency Austin.
The Salon Leaders Experience is designed to empower salon owners, managers and their teams with the knowledge and skills necessary for success in the evolving beauty industry. With a focus on five key strategies for salon success — People & Productivity, Business Boost, Marketing Methods, Health & Wellness, and Tech & Innovation — attendees will gain actionable insights to enhance their salon businesses.
Leading the General Session is keynote speaker Brant Menswar, culture expert and bestselling author, who will share the secrets of building a resilient, adaptable, values-based culture. Participants will discover the importance of knowing their non-negotiables in driving organizational performance and leave with actionable strategies for establishing an unbreakable culture within their own organizations.
Additionally, keynote speaker Kristina Marsh, strategist, educator and coach, will dive into the fundamentals of building salon brands. With more than 20 years of experience leading marketing and brand strategies, Kris will guide attendees in identifying their salon’s unique value proposition and provide tools to enable them to stand out in a crowded market.
Following her keynote, Marsh will lead two breakout sessions, where she will provide attendees with the opportunity to dive deeper into the practical application of branding and marketing strategies within the salon context.
"We are thrilled to introduce the Salon Leaders Experience, offering curated content to improve the businesses of salon owners, managers, and their teams,” said Nina Daily, executive director of PBA. “The agenda promises a unique and immersive experience, featuring expert-led sessions and peer-to-peer learning opportunities. Attendees will have the chance to network and connect with salon industry peers from across the country, fostering a sense of belonging and unity within the community."
With morning general sessions and afternoon breakouts, attendees will have opportunities to customize their schedules and make the most of their time at the event. Regional networking sessions will further facilitate connections and collaboration among salon professionals.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided each day as part of the event ticket package. Additionally, participants will have the chance to explore the vibrant city of Austin through dine-arounds, offering additional networking opportunities.
