Songstress Sabrina Carpenter – who is currently in Europe on tour with Taylor Swift for her Eras Tour – walked the red carpet at the Met Gala on May 6 with hair styled with Redken.
Hair colorist Laurie Heaps utilized Redken's Flash Lift Bonder Inside and 20 Volume Developer on the roots.
Since her hair already had highlights, Heaps revisited those sections and applied Flash Lift Bonder Inside and 10 Volume Developer to the ends to safeguard her hair.
Additionally, she weaved out lighter pieces between the foils and treated them with 10 Volume Developer.
The next day, during the follow-up session, she went through her hair, re-foiling the sections that still had traces of gold from her previous hair color, ensuring a uniform result.
For toning, she applied Redken Shades EQ Gloss, mixing 1/2 ounce of 010VV, a capful of 010N and one ounce of Crystal Clear for five minutes on the roots.
On the ends, I used a mixture of a capful of 010P and two ounces of Crystal Clear for five minutes.
Hairstylist Scott King used Redken Full Volume Mousse at the roots to her damp hair. He also sprayed Redken Thermal Spray roots to ends to protect the hair from hot tools.
After setting her hair, he brushed it out and sprayed Dry Texture Finishing Spray all over for volume and some grit. Next, he went in and sprayed Redken Root Tease Spray at the roots to add volume to the crown. He pinned pieces back softly while leaving some curls around the face and locked in the style with Redken Brushable Hairspray all over and Redken Max Hold Hairspray on the bangs to lock them in place.
