Zuru Edge Beauty and Monday Haircare have completed a “game-changing” multi-million-dollar investment in a new manufacturing facility located in Zhongshan, Southern China.

Executed by a team of over 35 experts who possess over 3,000 years of collective operational cosmetic experience, covering all areas of functional expertise, this state-of-the-art facility is compliant with the highest global quality standards and has end-to-end manufacturing capabilities, including both production of packaging and finished products.

Phase one of the facility covers 290K+ square feet, with plans to double it to over 535K square feet in the next 24 months, enabling the production of over 100,000,000 recyclable bottles of Monday per year, with long-term plans to substantially increase as demand for the brand continues to grow.

Jaimee Lupton, Monday Haircare's founder, said, "Our north star is to be a modern-day L'Oréal, creating brands for tomorrow's customers based on what they want now and how they like to shop. Monday Haircare has had unprecedented success around the world since launching in 2020. We are really excited to see where we can take not only the Monday brand, but the pipeline beauty and personal care brands we have in development. There is so much more to come, with the US being a major focus."

Monday’s Plan for 2023

Monday Haircare is already on track to reach $200M retail sales in 2023, with its premium range of modern and cruelty-free haircare made affordable and accessible. The brand has disrupted the FMCG landscape since its launch in March 2020, selling six months' worth of stock in four weeks in Australia and New Zealand alone, and replicating that success with launches in the United States, Canada, UAE and United Kingdom within 12 months.

It is now stocked in 26 countries with over 70 retailers globally, including Amazon, Walmart, Target, Ulta Beauty, CVS, Costco, ASOS, Coles, Tesco and Boots.
