Earlier this month, for the first time, SC Johnson opened the doors of its Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Research Tower to the public. For 32 years, the Research Tower served as a hub of innovation and the birthplace to some of the world's most beloved household products, including Glade, Off!, Pledge and Raid. For those who couldn't make it to Racine earlier this month for the re-opening, here's a peek at what they missed.

Construction of the Tower and its alternating square and circle floors in progress. Construction began on November 6, 1947.

It's What's on the Inside That Counts!
The unique taproot core design of The Tower illuminated by the sunset. Features of the Tower include a round elevator, 17.5 miles of Pyrex tubes windows, and alternating cantilevered floors and round mezzanines that look down onto the floor below.
The Sky's the Limit!
The Research Tower stands 153 feet high with 232 stairs that climb 15 stories.
