He told Happi, “Recently, many more women are seeking color cosmetics with active ingredients (like SPF) to maximize the a.m. to p.m. benefits of their skin care investment.”
South Florida based dermatologist Dr. Gary Goldfaden, founder of Goldfaden MD Skin Care, agreed. He told Happi, “SPF is a must when it comes to protection from the sun. SPF in skin care, makeup and hair care is an extra protector; but an actual sunscreen should always be used by itself or in conjunction for maximum protection.”
