Sandler AG Offers New Developments in Wipes

December 9, 2005

Sandler AG from Schwarzenbach an der Saale, Germany,
introduces new developments in the spunlace Sawatex family for baby wipes, wipes for the cosmetic industry, special hygiene products and household and all-purpose wipes. The company offers nonwovens made from viscose, polyester or polypropylene, as well as blends from such fibers under the name Sawatex, and they can be manufactured in basis weights of 40-120 g/m. These nonwovens are characterized by high-tensile strength, a textile feel and excellent absorbency, according to company executives.
The company’s Sawatex Daily wipe is a practical alternative to conventional household wipes. Suitable for wet and dry applications, the wipe has an improved dust and dirt holding capacity due to its raised surface. More info: E-mail: Miriam.hager@sandler.de.
