Carolyn New York launched its new website, where nail polish fanatics can get the hottest colors 24/7 with a click of the mouse. To celebrate the launch, gifts, coupon-offers and more will be offered to visitors.
Designed by chief executive officer and company owner, Carolyn Cianciotto, getting around the website takes the consumer from the uptown world of Park Avenue to the downtown scenes of the East Village, Soho and Tribeca through the personal stories that inspired Carolyn’s New York Colors.
The new website offers Carolyn New York’s DPB-free nail lacquers, a full range of custom nail treatments and luxurious hand products and manicure tools.
“All my formulas are free of DPB, a potentially harmful additive, and fortified with special nail-nourishing conditioners to strengthen even weak, fragile nails,” said Ms. Ciancotto.
Click on any color and you’ll get a pop-up back story of the color’s name based on the real Carolyn’s adventures in the city: Cheating in Queens, a rich, racy red made for revenge, tells the story of a two-timing boyfriend. While Times Square, an explosive electric tangerine, recalls Carolyn’s dreams of seeing her name in lights.
Poppy Chulo one of this summer's hot new colors, reflects the fiery spirit of Spanish Harlem, one of Carolyn’s favorite neighborhoods. Mugged on the 6 Train, recalls a rock concert night gone hilariously wrong. In contrast, the sheer elegance of Sutton Place and Park Chix, has all the class of Carolyn’s uptown, socialite clientele.
“They’re the colors of my life,” said Ms. Cianciotto, “but they’re also the colors of my customers’ lives, too. They’re fun, with a smart, sassy New York attitude. The line has plenty of classics to choose from. Every woman can relate to the stories behind the colors. My collection reflects the dazzling diversity and energy of New York.”
Like New York, the website is different everyday. “We reinvent it constantly with new products, holiday gift ideas, super savings and coupons you’ll never find in salons or stores,” said Ms. Ciancotto. “Visitors will find something new every time they log on. “Once you’re a customer, you’re not only my friend, you’re an instant New Yorker, and every New Yorker loves a good deal,” she added.
“There’s a little New Yorker in everyone," said Ms. Ciancotto. More info: www.carolynnewyork.com.
