‘Red’ Hot Products from Pureology, Redken

• Leading salon hair care companies Pureology and Redken are seeing red this winter with new ranges and color products for this special shade of hair.

Pureology’s Reviving Red is billed as the first oil-infused system specifically designed to restore, protect and illuminate all shades of red and copper color-treated hair—think fiery red heads, gorgeous ginger shades and sweet strawberry blondes.

The system, which maintains the vibrancy of red and copper, even after 30 washes, features concentrated oil-infused formulas that deliver protective jaljala oil and lycopene extract to help prevent color bleeding and fading as well as an exclusive Oleo Antifade Complex, which is composed of a powerful blend of sunflower oil to replenish hair’s natural lipid layer and sunflower seed extract to protect hair from free radical aggressors.

The Reviving Red range includes a shamp’oil, conditioner, illuminating caring oil and color-depositing conditioning treatments.

Meanwhile, Redken’s new Copper Envy Trend Collection features shades in Chromatics prismatic permanent hair color and Shades EQ Cream equalizing conditioning color. Chromatics permanent hair color leaves hair two times more fortified with zero ammonia, up to 100% gray coverage and a luxurious product experience. An expansion to Shades EQ, Redken’s Shades EQ Cream, is an equalizing conditioning color and brightening conditioning color cream. Formulated as an acid pH, no-lift, no-ammonia color with a creamy consistency, Shades EQ Cream stylists can glaze, refresh, correct and blend gray as well as define and brighten.
