UNITED KINGDOM: Blow Ltd. has raised a total of $9 million from high profile executives (including the CEO of Net-A-Porter and the founders of Lion Capital) to expand its so-called “fast beauty” proposition—in which “time poor women” can stop in for quick blow outs, makeup applications and manicures. Blow offers more than 50 premium beauty brands via a beauty-to-go in store, online or mobile. Users can book multiple-services at the same place and time, or alternatively, Blow can provide consumers with the tools and products to recreate the look at home, with door-to-door delivery 24/7.
Following the launch of the Blow Ltd. flagship in Covent Garden, the next Fast Beauty bar will launch in Canary Wharf next month. Blow was founded by venture capitalist Dharmash Mistry and Fiona McIntosh, a former editor of Elle.
