The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. completed the acquisitions of perfumer Frédéric Malle and GlamGlow last month. Terms of the deals were not disclosed.
Established in Paris, the Frédéric Malle collection is big at stores like Barney’s and online, and is also sold through five stand-alone stores in Paris and New York. Established by perfumer Frederic Malle, the brand offers exclusive, ultra luxury fragrances and home environment products to premium customers.
Lauder has also completed the acquisition of GlamGlow, a skin care brand focused on fast-acting treatment masks. Founded in 2010 by Glenn and Shannon Dellimore, GlamGlow was coined “Hollywood’s Boutique Secret” for its ubiquity on Hollywood sets, but has since created a robust presence in global specialty-multi channels, including Sephora and Douglas, and in select high-end department stores, such as Neiman Marcus, Selfridges, Harvey Nichols, Bloomingdale’s and Nordstrom.
“The acquisition of GlamGlow marks the beginning of a very exciting future for the brand we created,” said Glenn Dellimore.
“We are thrilled to be joining The Estée Lauder Companies,” added Shannon Dellimore.
