Henkel: appointed Heather Wallace as senior vice president and general manager, beauty care North America. In addition, as the regional head of beauty care in North America, she will serve as a member of Henkel’s North American leadership team and the global beauty executive team. She will report directly to Jens-Martin Schwärzler, Henkel’s EVP-beauty care.
Wallace was most recently Henkel’s SVP and GM, retailer brands North America, laundry and home care. She will be based at Henkel’s Consumer Products North American headquarters in Stamford, CT.
Wallace has held senior sales, marketing and brand leadership positions at Henkel, starting as director retailer brands. Prior to Henkel, Wallace spent nearly 10 years at Novartis Consumer Health where she held various marketing and brand leadership roles. She holds a bachelor’s degree from University of California, Davis and an MBA from University of Michigan Ross School of Business.
In other news, Henkel appointed Jenny Schiavone as vice president of corporate communications in North America. Prior to her role at Henkel, Schiavone held numerous global leadership positions, including head of global public affairs at DuPont, chief communications officer at ITT Corporation, and leadership roles in corporate communications at PepsiCo and General Electric.
In her new role, she will work closely with Henkel’s North American president, Jerry Perkins, and with leaders of the company’s adhesives, beauty and laundry and home care business units to continue to increase Henkel’s profile as a leader in the consumer goods and adhesive technologies markets, as well as in sustainability and corporate social responsibility.
