Procedure | |
Add phase A to a secondary vessel and start mixing. Heat to 80°C. Add phase B, then phase C. Add the water and glycerin of phase D to the main vessel, Start mixing and add remaining phase D items in order. When the solids are fully incorporated, heat to 75°C. When both phases are homogeneous and at their designated temperatures, slowly add phase ABC to phase D with prop mixing. Start cooling after 5 minutes. When batch is below 50°C, add phase E items one by one with mixing. Continue mixing until batch is at room temperature. Replace any water lost to evaporation and mix until smooth. | |
