Yourtorun Global spoke at Beauty Expo Taipei 2025 about the brand's long-lasting lash-lifting services for men and women.

For 2026, beauty consumers are as ingredient savvy as they are edgy in style.

This year, beauty enthusiasts are incorporating sophisticated rituals into their beauty routines like Korean lash lifts, azelaic acid, collagen face masks and PDRN, according to a new report from beauty and wellness booking platform Fresha.

After conducting an analysis of average monthly UK Google search volume alongside year-on-year change for hundreds of beauty-related keywords, analysts found the treatments, ingredients, and styles capturing the most attention heading into 2026.

Korean lash lift has seen an explosive 20,082% year-on-year increase in UK searches. With nearly 10,000 searches per month, interest in this treatment has surged as consumers seek natural-looking enhancements with long-lasting results.

In second is azelaic acid, a well-known skincare ingredient prized for its anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and exfoliating properties. Commonly used to treat acne, rosacea and hyperpigmentation, it sees 60,500 monthly searches, 50,600 more than Korean lash lifts, and has experienced nearly a 50% year-on-year increase. The ingredient is frequently discussed in skincare guru Natalie O’Neill’s TikToks.

Rounding out the top three are cat-eye nails, recently spotted on Hailey Bieber, who sported a winter-ready frosty silver cat-eye manicure. The trend has garnered over 27,000 monthly searches, marking a 124% year-on-year increase.

Annabelle Taurua, beauty expert at Fresha, said, Korean lash lifts are “well-positioned” to move from a niche treatment into a mainstream salon offering. However, lash health, eye shape and previous treatments should be considered. For example, over-processing can weaken lashes if the technique isn’t tailored correctly.

Azelaic acid, she said, reflects a “broader shift” towards dermatologist-approved multi-functional ingredients that can deliver results without irritating the skin. Azelaic acid’s suitability for sensitive and acne-prone skin makes it particularly appealing to consumers.

Cat eye nails are characterized by their magnetic, light-reflective finish, offering a modern twist, and can be appealing to clients who are looking for statement nail designs that feel wearable.

“We’re seeing a clear move towards confidence-led self-expression, as people tap into hairstyles such as micro bangs, to playful nail trends such as cat eye nails, to use color and texture to make a statement,” concluded Taura. “Looking at skincare, rising interest in ingredients such as azelaic acid reflects a more educated consumer. Overall, 2026 is going to be less about follow one-size fits all beauty, and more about personalized routines and multi-functional products and treatments.”
