Olaplex Debuts o7 Shine Serum Oil Mist

Olaplex has unveiled the newest innovation to its o7 franchise, which it’s calling the “next evolution of shine and hydration.”

o7 Shine Serum Oil Mist expands the brand’s styling and treatment portfolio. This first-of-its-kind bi-phase mist is designed to deliver shine, hydration and repair in a lightweight format ideal for refresh moments between wash days. As consumers increasingly seek products that deliver both treatment and styling benefits, Olaplex say o7 bridges the gap between hair health and cosmetic performance, providing hydration, shine, frizz reduction, heat protection and repair in one step.

o7 combines a hydrating serum treatment with lightweight shine oils in a super-fine mist. The two phases remain intentionally separate until shaken together, helping preserve the performance and texture of each phase while delivering shine and hydration without weighing hair down. Powered by patented Olaplex Bond-Building Technology, the formula repairs damage on a molecular level by rebuilding disulfide bonds while replenishing moisture and improving the overall look and feel of hair.

Other key ingredients include Kalahari melon seed oil, kukui nut oil and rosehip fruit extract – highly refractive oils that deliver instant shine and lightweight hydration without weighing hair down.

Consumer Tested

Based on an independent consumer perception study of 75 participants after one week of use, clinically and consumer-tested results include 96-hour shine; 96-hour hydration; 75% reduction in breakage; heat protection up to 450°F (232°C); and 95% agreement that hair felt smoother and frizz was reduced after use.
