Haut.AI Expands Into Body Care With New Technology

System provides skin data across the full body through a unified AI model for product recommendations.

Haut.AI is backed by Ulta Beauty’s Innovation Fund and part of NVIDIA’s Startup Program. Now, it is launching Body Analysis, a first-of-its-kind AI-powered body skin analysis technology designed to help beauty and wellness brands deliver personalized, data-driven body care experiences at scale, the company contends.

Early adopters of the technology include Olay (P&G) and Pond’s (Unilever), according to the company.

“Consumers rarely expect body care products to deliver visible results beyond basic moisturization, largely because products are not properly matched to their individual skin needs,” said Anastasia Georgievskaya, CEO and co-founder of Haut.AI and a scientist with a Master’s degree in bioengineering and biophysics.

Body skin is just as complex as facial skin, yet while the beauty industry has developed sophisticated systems for facial skin analysis and recommendations, brands have lacked the infrastructure needed to deliver the same level of intelligence and personalization for body care. Body Analysis changes that by providing objective, quantitative skin data across the full body through a unified AI model, enabling more precise product recommendations, better consumer outcomes, and stronger long-term trust in the category,” Georgievskaya said.

To coincide with the launch, Haut.AI is releasing its Body Skin Intelligence Report based on research among 1,200 women in the US. Key findings include:

  • 43% have changed plans because of body skin concerns
  • 91% expose more of their body skin during summer months
  • 81% of consumers regularly use body care products
  • 74% believe AI could make body care routines easier or more effective
