Astral Brands Appoints New Leadership

Astral Health & Beauty has added three new executive leaders. Joining the organization as vice president operations is Chuck McKnight, as director of product development and principal scientist is Noureddine Mriouah, and as national sales manager for CosMedix is Shawn Morgan.

Most recently, McKnight was the chief operating officer at Stila Cosmetics where he either lead or contributed to expense, cost of sales and process improvement initiatives. Prior to that, he was the vice president of operations at Smashbox Cosmetics where he lead, contributed and improved operational and infrastructure processes and initiatives.

Mriouah joins Astral Health & Beauty with 19 years of experience in the cosmetics industry. His background includes formulation and development with key manufacturers and formulators with ABCO Laboratories, CSM International, Du-Var Laboratory and Les Parfums Christian Dior.

Morgan comes to Astral Health & Beauty with more than 15 years of industry experience throughout the U.S., Canada, and Mexico with brands such as Dermalogica, Murad and Elizabeth Arden.

The company was established in 1978 and is headquartered in Atlanta, GA. Its three flagship brands are Aloette, Pür Minerals and CosMedix.
