Clarins—which is currently building its second production site in Troyes, France—says it will streamline and improve the efficiency of manufacturing processes at its existing production site in Pontoise. The company has tapped Dassault Systèmes for the efficiency Improvement project, which includes efforts at the new high environmental quality (HQE) site in Troyes as well as the existing facility near Paris. “As part of its global development strategy, the Clarins Group is building a second factory in France: a state-of-the-art plant on two aspects, sustainable development and operational excellence. This project follows an ambitious and comprehensive Industry 4.0 road map,” said Denis Martin, business support transformation officer, Clarins. Clarins announced its €135 million project to build a second site in 2023, as reported by Happi. The new plant is expected to come on line before the end of the year
