Sulwhasoo has appointed actress Tilda Swinton global ambassador to showcase the brand's global brand mission to build a world of beauty powered by art and heritage.
 
With her unique and unrivaled aura, Swinton takes her first step as the brand's storyteller, delivering Sulwhasoo's authentic heritage and innovative artistic spirit to women worldwide. From Blackpink’s Rosé to adding Tilda Swinton, Sulwhasoo completes its global ambassador lineup.

Ultimate Beauty Based on Heritage and Artistry 

This March, Sulwhasoo’s latest campaign “#SulwhasooRebloom,” which announced the beginning of a newly reestablished brand identity, returns with Tilda Swinton kicking off its evolution. The campaign aims to proclaim Sulwhasoo's role as a brand that brings ultimate beauty based on heritage and artistry. It also highlights the elements that contributed to the foundation of Sulwhasoo and how it blossomed into a global iconic luxury beauty brand.
 
Since its inception in 1932, Sulwhasoo has built a distinctive brand identity centered on a unique heritage of raw ingredients, efficacy, design and texture.
 
Tilda Swinton was selected to represent Sulwhasoo for her worldwide reputation of taking on challenges in experimental roles that transcend all genres and domains. She has, in fact, established herself with riveting filmography such as “We Need to Talk about Kevin” and “Memoria.” She also has a special appreciation for Korean pop culture, continuously taking part in Korean films including “Snowpiercer” by director Bong Joon-ho. Swinton values her Scottish roots. 
 
With this, she profoundly resonates with Sulwhasoo's mission and looks forward to taking on the role as the brand's storyteller. Swinton revealed her fondness towards Sulwhasoo, having used its products before she began her activities as the brand’s global ambassador. She filmed the brand’s second “brand universe” video at the House of Sulwhasoo Bukchon in Seoul, South Korea. The space showcases all of Sulwhasoo’s heritage, innovative artistic spirit and philosophy. Her film with the brand highlights her charisma as she unravels her emotions through the mysterious cinematography. Last September, Blackpink Rosé was featured in the first “brand universe” video; her new video will unfold another layer of Sulwhasoo, further expanding it to new heights.
 
“Eternal spirits, never-ending spirit and immortal spirits… but not such a beautiful thing as this. I’m really quite obsessed with Ginseng,” she said. 
 
In “I Am Ginseng,” a video that depicts Sulwhasoo’s appreciation for ginseng, the root and core of the brand’s heritage, the actress expresses her affection and curiosity for the ingredient with her what the brand calls her “alluring and distinct voice.”
