Haircare brand Crown Affair has closed its $9 million Series B funding round, led by True Beauty Ventures.

The transaction marks True Beauty Ventures’ fourth investment in Crown Affair, who also led the brand’s $5 million Series A fundraise in 2022. This, officials said, underscores True Beauty’s follow-on investment strategy and confidence in the brand’s long-term potential.

The Series B capital will be strategically allocated to fuel Crown Affair’s expansion at Sephora, build out its team, and scale marketing initiatives to sustain its impressive year-over-year growth.

With this fresh capital, the brand – which was established in 2020 – is poised to continue its mission of driving elevated haircare rituals that promote a deeper connection to self-care.

“This funding marks the next chapter of growth for Crown Affair, and a significant inflection point in our journey,” said Dianna Cohen, founder and CEO of Crown Affair. “From the very beginning, we’ve focused on building a brand that is meaningful and thoughtful, and we couldn’t ask for a better partner than True Beauty Ventures whose deep beauty expertise has been invaluable as we’ve grown our business. With this new funding, we’ll be able to push the boundaries of what clean haircare can achieve and accelerate our strong momentum at Sephora and beyond.”
