Dossier, Novel Sun Protection and Mixsoon’s PDRN in Tinted Moisturizer Win Big at Cosmoprof

The winners of the Cosmoprof and Cosmopack North America Awards were unveiled on July 14 in Las Vegas during a private ceremony held on the show floor at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. The awards spotlight the most innovative products and solutions on display at Cosmoprof, offering a forecast of the market’s most impactful solutions for the months ahead, across every sector from supply chain to finished product.

This year, there were 357 submissions, according to show organizers. Four finalists were chosen for each category: Fragrance: Personal & Home; Skin & Body Care Products; Hair Products; and Make Up & Nail Products. Additionally, Cosmopack North America Awards were presented for innovation in formulation and packaging design and materials.

2026 Winners

Fragrance – Personal & Home Dossier Lost Americana

Jurors appreciated the storytelling, concept, and fragrance expression of lost americana, Dossier’s fragrance collaboration with artist and actor MGK, also known as Machine Gun Kelly. Dossier’s genderless fragrance has a rich, earthy and spicy scent, inspired by MGK’s affinity for American nostalgia intertwined with a 1990’s mood. The panel also acknowledged the recycled packaging.

Hair Products: K-Headspa Scalp Cooling Serum

K-Headspa’s Scalp Cooling Serum has an integrated brush-applicator device that delivers red light and vibration therapy.  The serum’s ingredients include a Cooling Active Complex, which combines niacinamide for scalp conditioning and hydration; caffeine for a refreshing sensation; panthenol for moisture and soothing; zinc PCA; ectoin and beta-glucan for scalp conditioning; alongside a peptide complex for scalp wellness. In addition, menthol and peppermint extracts deliver a cooling sensation.

Skin & Body Care Products:  Timesavvy Hybrid XL Cushion Sun Serum

This sun care in a cushion formula was lauded for its  “sun care-first view” as opposed to cushion foundation with SPF,” according to the jury.  The serum format offers SPF 50 UV protection in a lightweight texture so it can be re-applied easily throughout the day, encouraging more consistent use. Ingredients include a hybrid sunscreen formula combining mineral and UV filters that offers wearability with a reduced white cast. This is combined with skin care ingredients niacinamide, Centella asiatica extract, aloe vera leaf extract, hydrolyzed collagen, and adenosine. Additionally, the panel also liked the Timesavvy’s use of an oversized compact design and cooling puff applicator technology that delivers a refreshing feel during use.

Make Up & Nail Products: Mixsoon PDRN Collagen Tinted Moisturizer

Described by the jurors as a “great evolution of PDRN tech,” this tinted moisturizer’s 74% skin care base includes rice PDRN, collagen and peptides that plump the complexion and offer brightening and anti-wrinkle benefits along with a weightless veil of color.  Mixsoon offers this product in 10 adaptive shades.

Cosmopack North America Awards

Formulation: Colep Consumer Products’ Skin Shift Repair Wand – Scar Recovery Pen  

Actives captured in a biomimetic gelling emulsifying system inspired by phospholipid structures are housed in an airless tube with a precise pen-like applicator and a cooling metal tip.

Packaging – Design & Materials: Shinwang M&P Zero

This packaging tube concept has hands-free application thanks to a patented piston dispensing technology. When pressed, the formula is dispensed directly through the center of the integrated puff applicator for hygienic application.
