As a direct result of the COVID-19 outbreak and the recent scarcity of hand sanitizer in the US, wellness brand Lather has joined the cause, producing thousands of units of hand sanitizer starting this week. The formula is 65%-70% ethyl alcohol based, higher than the 60% minimum the CDC recommends* and also includes hydrating, restorative botanicals such as aloe vera to combat the drying effects of alcohol.
“Lather has been in operation for over twenty years and is a family run company so we’ve always valued and supported local communities and businesses. We are pleased to create a product that will help people stay safe during this uncertain time” said founder and CEO Emilie Hoyt.
