Fusion Brands Inc., parent company of FusionBeauty and Clean, has formed a new luxury fragrance division and tapped Dana Kline to head the unit.
Kline who comes to Fusion Brands Inc. with more than 20 years of experience in the field, will report directly to chief executive officer Caroline Pieper-Vogt.
"The launch of Fusion Brands Luxury Fragrance Division brings us one step closer to realizing our goal in becoming a full service global beauty entity,” said Pieper-Vogt. “With Dana's unique combination of passion for the fragrance category, her extensive management experience and her unparalleled skill at brand development, she's the perfect candidate to help us see this vision through."
Prior to joining Fusion Brands Inc., Kline served as president of Icon Beauty, a sales and distribution company she built in 2008, overseeing sales marketing execution of Beyonce "Heat", Nautica, Nautica Oceans, Kate Moss, Beckham, as well as the exclusive launch of the bebe fragrance brand in the U.S. Before that, she served as vice president of sales at Gary Farn ltd. in charge of all distribution for prestige fragrance houses Ferragamo, Annick Goutal, Lolita Lempicka, Etro, Herve Leger and Ungaro. Kline has also worked as national sales manager for Puig Prestige where she worked on the planning and development of the first Prada launch and managed designer brands including Nina Ricci and Carolina Herrera. As field sales director at LVMH she launched Michael Kors, Marc Jacobs & Parfums Givenchy.
