Cetaphil has rolled out Cetaphil DermaControl products, a line for acne-prone skin.
Delivered through advanced technology, the Cetaphil DermaControl skincare system is one of the first to contain zinc, ceramide and oleosome technologies to help reduce oil, control shine, and support healthy skin by helping maintain its barrier function and soothe irritation, according to the company. The products also contain licorice root extracts known to have anti-inflammatory properties which can help soothe irritated skin.
"As a trusted leader in dermatology, Galderma is committed to advancing options for the management of acne and other skin conditions that can have a significant emotional and physical impact on sufferers," says Francois Fournier, president of U.S. and Canadian operations of Galderma Laboratories. "Our mission is to provide everyday solutions for healthcare professionals and their patients.
Cetaphil DermaControl products are the second addition to the Cetaphil brand's extension into disease-specific products. In 2010, the brand launched Restoraderm to help manage the symptoms of eczema and atopic dermatitis.
