Some nail polish removers contain acetone, an ingredient used to make meth in home labs. The chain says the policy, similar to that involving the purchase of certain over-the-counter cold remedies, is a part of the battle against methamphetamines, according to reports.
CVS also says it will limit the amount of nail polish remover a person can buy in conjunction with other products that contain ingredients that can be used to make meth, added the reports.
