Cover Girl Launches First-Ever Clean Fresh Skin Care

The line features a hydrating cream cleanser, priming glow mist, weightless water cream, mattifying oil-free moisturizer and dry skin corrector.

Popular cosmetics brand Cover Girl is launching its first skincare collection with Clean Fresh Skincare. The 100% clean lineup of products are Leaping Bunny approved and shown to visibly improve the look of skin instantly and overtime, company officials say.

“Cover Girl is an icon in the makeup aisle with a deep heritage in skin-forward products, so breaking into the skincare category is a natural evolution for the brand,” said Andrew Stanleick, executive vice president, North America at Coty, home to the Cover Girl brand, and CEO of Kylie Jenner beauty brands. “We know consumers are more skin-aware than ever and want ingredient-conscious products at an accessible price point. Cover Girl Clean Fresh Skincare is just that, and we can’t wait to get these special formulations in the hands – and on the faces – of Cover Girl fans everywhere.”
 
Formulated with 90% naturally derived ingredients, the Clean Fresh Skincare range includes—depending on the product—TruClean cactus water, meadowfoam seed oil, rosewater and vitamin C, to hydrate, improve texture and enhance skin tone, whether creating the perfect canvas for makeup or going makeup free.

The brand alsorecently cleaned up its packaging, as reported in Happi. Coty is seeing success with the classic beauty brand.

Clean Fresh Skincare Hydrating Cream Cleanser
