Cosmoprof North America attracted more than 700 beauty and personal care brands to the Miami Beach Convention for three days last month. One of the trade show’s standout brands was
Skyline Beauty Group.
The five-year-old company – formally Silber Equity– displayed its five personal care brands — Pure Brazilian Hair Care; Alpha Skin Care; Anthony men's grooming essentials; Bio Clarity, a Leaping Bunny-approved anti-acne skincare line; and Shaveworks. Each marketed their latest innovations, which Skyline Beauty Group said attracted high foot traffic from retailers and distributors alike.
Skyline Beauty Group says it is dedicated to acquiring brands that embody innovation, inclusivity and “unwavering ethical standards” and is committed to staying ahead of the curve when it comes to beauty trends. This is evidenced in its continuous investment in research and development to bring “cutting-edge” products and solutions to its growing customer base, say officials.

Naturally Derived Skin and Hair Care Solutions
On display were samples of Alpha Skin's range of anti-aging skincare products. The brand’s body lotion is formulated with what it contends is the optimal balance of 12% glycolic alpha hydroxy acid and a pH of 3.8. Glycolic AHA, derived from natural sugar cane, helps reduce scarring, sloughs off dead skin cells and provides hydration to mitigate the appearance of lines and wrinkles for younger, healthier-looking skin.
Anthony’s men’s grooming essentials showcased HoneyFacial. The formulation made with natural ingredients provides a mild warming sensation that opens pores, allowing optimal absorption of active ingredients to provide long-lasting hydration, per the brand. Anthony’s products are cruelty-free and allergy- and dermatologist-tested.
Pure Brazilian’s formaldehyde-free, smoothing hair products formulated for all hair types. Pure Brazilian's hair smoothing system—which the brand says is formulated with “minimum chemicals for maximum results”—is intended for use by professional hairdressers. The brand demonstrated how the products’ plant-based formula maintains volume and produces smooth, frizz-free hair for up to three months.

From Bio Clarity, attendees were able to take a look at Eye Will Chill, a caffeinated eye serum. It reduces the appearance of undereye puffiness and dark circles. Bio Clarity's other skincare essentials are made with plant-based formulas and its proprietary antioxidant complex Floralux, which is derived naturally from chlorophyll and dermatologist tested.
“A lot of skincare brands talk about using ‘clean ingredients.’ Being void of harsh, harmful chemicals is great, but for us, it’s just a starting place,” said Andrew Caruso, Skyline Beauty Group's vice president of sales. “Science has proven that plants are a powerful force of nature with the ability to be both powerfully healing and kind to skin. So, each of our products is consciously formulated, combining clean ingredients with plant-derived complexes and ingredients to help deliver results you can see and feel good about.”
Preventative shaving essentials from its Shaveworks brand were offered as a solution for ingrown hairs. The brand’s soothing gel combines exfoliators to help prevent ingrown hairs and minimize razor bumps, while botanical extracts help relieve razor burn.
Skyline Beauty Group plans to take its brands on the road to Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna later this month.
