Procedure | |
Disperse Carbopol and Pemulen using homogenizer until uniform; add remaining phase A raw materials and begin to heat to 75°C under gentle agitation. Combine phase B raw materials and heat to 85°C until Sylvaclear C75V is completely dispersed. Add phase B to phase A under homogenization, and mix for 5-8 minutes. Remove and switch to sweep agitation and begin to cool to 40°C. Neutralize mixture with phase C; cool to 30-35°C and add remaining phase D and E raw materials one at a time. | |
