Taking place for the first time in New York City, the 38th Annual New York Society of Cosmetic Chemists Suppliers’ Day is the must-attend event for those seeking innovation, education and business connections in the cosmetics and personal care industries. Cosmetic chemists, ingredient executives including R&D professionals involved in ingredient/strategic sourcing, formulation experts and marketing/sales strategists are encouraged to register as attendees now for this highly anticipated event.
“NYSCC members and the chemical ingredients community have been overwhelmingly positive about the new Javits location in New York City. This May, Suppliers’ Day will be a hotbed of activity in beauty and personal care innovations and provide ample networking and business-building,” said Marie Thadal, chair/president, NYSCC executive board.
Interest in exhibit space has been strong, with more than 400 top suppliers and distributors already set to display their latest innovations and industry solutions. A new Business France Pavilion will feature more exhibitors.
“We are very excited to be exhibiting at the Javits Center in New York City this Suppliers’ Day. Being in the heart of the city, where beauty comes alive, where trends are created, and where consumers of all ages, demographics, and ethnicities are omnipresent, this show will ignite collaboration for the creation of the successful beauty and personal care products of the future, and we look forward to presenting our latest innovations here,” said Beth Mota, marketing manager, NOAM, Givaudan Active Beauty.
Suppliers’ Day specialty areas include:
- Innovations Alley—a showcase of the latest ingredients, solutions and technology that are, in many cases, debuting in the US or have not been seen at an event prior to NYSCC Suppliers’ Day 2017.
- Future Chemists Workshop—is a curated area on the show floor to challenge and reward up-and-coming cosmetic students. Suppliers are invited to provide ingredients, equipment and support; results of the challenge will be published with the aim of demonstrating NYSCC’s commitment to educating the industry and showcasing trends and innovations that will drive the future in skin, hair and color cosmetics.
- Digital Age of Beauty—a learning area featuring the technologies driving supply chain innovations, product development and efficient time-to-market including 3D printing, data intelligence tools, virtual reality and digital enhancements and filters.
“Bringing the industry together, under one roof, for an immersive experience of discovering new products and connecting with peers is what Suppliers’ Day is all about. Now being in New York, in one contiguous hall of exhibit space, will make the event even more accessible and conducive to the entire product development teams in the tri-state area as well as around the world,” said Steve Weinberg, regional sales manager, Kinetik Technologies.
