The members of the International Fragrance Association North America (IFRANA) have awarded the Eric Bruell Distinguished Service Award to James Heinz, CEO and president of Bell Flavors and Fragrances.
The Eric Bruell Award was established by the fragrance association members in 1991 to honor a fragrance colleague for exceptional commitment and contribution to the industry at large.
“It is an honor to work in such a beautiful industry focused on science, creativity and sustainability,” said Heinz. “It is a true pleasure to be part of shaping its policy.”
“Jim has been a beacon of the flavor and fragrance industry for over 45 years, yet his dedication and efforts will forever impact the future for the entire industry,” said Steve Tanner, chairman of IFRANA. “His colleagues in the fragrance industry salute him and extend our deepest gratitude for his energy, creativity and contribution to fragrance.”
“Jim is the kind of member every industry association covets. He engages politically and does whatever necessary to support critical advocacy efforts,” added Farah K. Ahmed, president and CEO, IFRANA.
