Eastman Appoints McCaulley Head of Global Marketing

Novopak Corp.: Richard Davis was named regional sales manager and will be responsible for supporting existing Novapak accounts and expanding the company’s customer base on the West Coast. He was previously national accounts manager for Owens-Illinois.
Alco Chemical: Michael Hagen has been appointed director of marketing, responsible for pan-Atlantic marketing efforts. He will work closely with the company’s sales, manufacturing and R&D groups.
MGP Ingredients: Jack Healy was appointed vice president of distillery products sales and administration. He was previously director of distillery products.
Pilot Chemical Co.: Bob Rechtin has been appointed manager, North American sales. He was previously director of sales and strategic purchasing at Baerlocher USA.
OraLabs Holding Corp.: Allen R. Goldstone resigned from the board of directors in February.
Ecru New York: Mark DePasquale was appointed brand manager. He will be responsible for representing all aspects of the company’s concepts and programs to sales consultants, their salons and, ultimately, he is responsible for growing the product line to its fullest potential.
PolyOne Corp.: Dario Cardenas has been appointed general manager for the company’s operations in Mexico and South America. Mr. Cardenas will be responsible for leading the management team at PolyOne’s Toluca, Mexico, operations and for spearheading the growth initiative of PolyOne’s Color & Additives Masterbatches business unit in Mexico and in Brazil.
Flavor & Fragrance Specialties: Jennifer Nystrom has been appointed senior account executive, servicing the western region. Krista Ruhnke has been appointed senior account executive. Prabodh (Pro) Parekh has been appointed director of new business development “Private Label.”
Engelhard Corp.: The personal care materials group has appointed three new account managers to serve the company’s personal care materials customers throughout North America. Karen Cole will serve the Midwest region as well as key accounts such as Elizabeth Arden and Alberto-Culver. Alexandre Rio will serve the western territories, as well as key accounts such as J&J and La Prairie; he is relocating from the company’s operations in France. Manisha Mahajan will serve the southeast region as well as key accounts such as Bath & Body Works.
Playtex Products, Inc.: Neil P. DeFeo was appointed chairman of the board of directors. Douglas D. Wheat has stepped down as chairman, but will continue to serve on the board as a director, and will become a member of the nominating and corporate governance committee. The Board appointed Herbert M. Baum, a director and chairman of the compensation and stock option committee, as lead director.
Pink: Deborah Fine, chief executive officer of Victoria’s Secret’s up-and-coming Pink division, has resigned. Victoria’s Secret parent, Limited Brands Inc., made a strategic decision to shift responsibility for Pink’s beauty business to Victoria’s Secret Beauty. Denise Landman, senior vice president of merchandising for Pink’s apparel and accessories business, and Richard Dent, Pink’s chief financial officer, will assume Ms. Fine’s responsibilities.
Mastertaste Inc.: Chris Long was appointed general manager of Mastertaste’s Sweet Flavors team in Commerce, CA. Most recently, he served as national sales manager with California Custom Fruits and Flavors. Mr. Long will oversee west coast operations, including sales, finance, R&D, customer service and production.
Hill Top Research: John Murta has been named senior vice president and chief financial officer. He will oversee the accounting/finance and information technology departments.
John Lyssikatos was named vice president of sales and marketing and will be responsible for all Hill Top business units including health and personal care, oral care and microbiology.
Kelly Knight-Bohnhoff has been named vice president of regulatory affairs and quality assurance and is responsible for maintaining quality systems to ensure regulatory compliance.
Mary Ellen Hall has been named vice president of human resources. Charley Folk and Tati Bates have been named group operations directors.
Chemidex: Michelle Evans was hired as director of Chemidex’s global marketing business and will be responsible for coordinating and developing the customer user base and new products. Most recently, she served as director, advertising and communications at ISP.
Ecolab Inc.: James J. Howard, a director since 1991, has retired from the board of directors.
L’Oréal USA: Jack Wiswall, president of the luxury products division, will retire at the end of 2006. Serge Jureidini, general manager of Giorgio Armani Beauty, will assume the role of president, designer fragrance division, effective July 2006.
Robertet: Jared Hamill has been hired as associate food technologist in the flavors applications library. Leslie Evans has been promoted to senior key accounts executive. Diana Furey has been promoted to manager, flavor applications. Edna Alston Scott has been promoted to food technologist.
Lubrizol: Robert Abernathy, group president, developing and emerging markets of Kimberly-Clark Corporation, was appointed to fill a vacancy on the Lubrizol board.
Croda: Art Knox was promoted to vice president, personal care sales. He has worked for Croda in the sales division for more than 17 years, beginning as a sales representative in California.
Joseph Pavlichko was promoted to vice president, marketing. He served as president of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists in 2000 and president of the International Federation of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists in 2005.
David Shannon has been appointed sales director, health care. He worked for Croda Chemicals Europe for the past eight years.
Charles Moses was appointed research manager, ethnic products and hair color. For the past eight years, Mr. Moses was director of hair color for L’Oréal.
CTFA: Executive vice president-legal and general counsel Tom Donegan will be retiring from The Cosmetic, Toiletry, and Fragrance Association this summer after almost 20 years of service. Elizabeth H. Anderson, CTFA’s current associate general counsel, will become executive vice president-legal and general counsel, effective upon Mr. Donegan’s retirement.
DIC: Dainippon Ink & Chemicals, Sun Chemical Corp.’s parent company, has appointed Naoki Tsuji as chairman of the board, replacing Wes Lucas. Mr. Tsuji was most recently president, DIC Logistics.
Quest International: Demi Thoman has been appointed president, consumer fragrance, Americas. The newly created post expands Mr. Thoman’s responsibilities to include the Latin American region as well as North America and covers all business development for consumer brands in this region.
Information Resources Inc.: Stewart Jones has been named executive vice president of global operations.
John Lawlor has been named division president/general manager of IRI’s panel and test solutions business. He is the former president of Ipsos-ASI, NA.
