Two concurrent educational symposia and exhibitions addressing Anti-Aging and Natural Beauty that will be driving the future growth of the beauty and personal care industry, will take place March 21-22, 2007 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in New York City. HBA Global Expo is producing this fifth annual mid-year conference.
The Anti-Aging Conference will focus on the latest technological and scientific advancements in anti-aging skin care and treatments. Topics that will be presented include cosmeceuticals, self-adjusting emulsions, novel delivery systems, alternatives to cosmetic procedures as well as patent information and break-through ingredients.
A daily keynote address will kick-off each day of the Anti-Aging Conference with marketing strategist and trend watcher, Wendy Lewis speaking on Exploring the Links Between Anti-Aging, Wellness & Beauty to Attract New Customers, on Wednesday, March 21st. The Thursday morning keynote speaker will be JuE Wong, senior vice president, global business, N.V. Perricone on the Science of Aging: Cosmeceuticals Leading Role.
The Natural Beauty Conference will present the latest innovations, ingredients, and trends that are taking place in this area of personal care that is fast becoming the next big thing for consumers. Advanced topics that will be covered include natural preservatives, different ingestibles for beneficial beauty, South American nutraceuticals, organic ingredients, botanical extracts, nanotechnology as well as natural tanning agents.
The Natural Beauty Conference will also have two morning keynote speakers starting with Julia McNamara, vice president of marketing, consumer markets, Datamonitor sharing insight on Hot Trends in the Natural Personal Care Market. The keynote address on March 22 will be Melanie Smith, director of product development, Mary Kay, talking about Formulating With Botanicals. In addition, the Natural Beauty Conference will conclude with a presentation by Chia Wen Chen, MS, director of natural products, The Este Lauder Companies presenting the latest information on Anti-Aging: A Natural Way.
