Throughout 2010, Church & Dwight plans to roll out new additions and improvements that will leverage some of its most successful recent launches and expand its most popular product lines.
Speaking at the CAGNY conference in Boca Raton, FL, chairman and chief executive officer Jim Craigie outlined some of those new introductions and noted that “no other CPG is as well suited to thrive in any kind of business environment as Church & Dwight."
Here’s a look at some of the new launches:
• Arm & Hammer PowerGel, a gel-based detergent with the 2-in-1 cleaning power of OxiClean Stain fighter plus Arm & Hammer baking soda.
• Oxy Clean Max Force, which address tougher stains in powder, gel, liquid and stick forms as well as new“power pack” format.
• A rechargeable version of its Arm & Hammer Sonic Spin Brush, which initially launched in 2009, and according to Craigie, is the fastest growing bush in the category.
• Nair Shower Power will be offered in new pump packaging.
In addition, Church & Dwight has another big launch up its sleeves. Keeping close to the vest, Craigie said he didn’t want to tip off the competition, but called the launch “a really big one for the back half of the year."
