According to a new national survey of American consumers, cleaning house is one of the most dreaded activities—second only to public speaking—and 84% polled said they wish there were options to make household cleaning easier.
In the survey—conducted by appliance maker LG Electronics USA—6 in 10 Americans admitted they tend to take short cuts in cleaning because it is too difficult to clean hard-to-reach places, and the majority report they just clean what they see.
Half of consumers surveyed reported they are interested in a washer/dryer pair that is able to wash more clothes in fewer loads (51%) and offers better cleaning performance (51%).
