Demand for cosmetic surgery in India is expected to surge in the coming years, according to a new study by RNCOS. Various factors such as increasing consumer awareness, direct marketing and advertising campaigns and technological advances in surgical and non-surgical procedures will lead to the high growth of the cosmetic surgery market in India. Owing to growing disposable income of the middle class households and changing lifestyle, it is expected that the Indian cosmetics surgery market will grow at a CAGR of around 31% during 2010-2013.
According to RNCOS, cosmetic surgery is more socially acceptable and, as a result, more consumers are opting for more procedures and their attendant beauty products.
