Procter & Gamble has signed on as the title sponsor of Hispanicize 2013, which will take place April 9-13 at Miami Beach's Eden Roc hotel.
Now in its fourth year, Hispanicize 2013 is largest annual event for Latino trendsetters and newsmakers in social media, journalism, advertising, PR, film, music and innovation.The event brings brands, media, marketers, celebrities, filmmakers, innovators and bloggers together in a unique creative environment focused on ideas and best practices.The event is a launch pad for creative endeavors, new products, technologies, marketing campaigns, films, books and more targeting Latinos.
Other current sponsors include The Clorox Company, ViSalus and Swiffer, which is a P&G brand.
Altogether more than 100 sessions and 260 speakers are lined up, including influencers from the Latin music, film and business industries.
Sessions on the docket include “Follow Your Nose to Profits: Using Scent Marketing in the Hispanic Market” and “LatinoShop Study - A Deep Dive at Latino Shopping Behavior.”
According to Pew Research Hispanic Center tabulations, there were 51.9 million Hispanics living in the US in 2011, an increase of 48% from 2000. They represented 17% of the US population in 2011.
